I didn't post it. I know the SEALS associated with the program. I didn't understand it from the beginning. If you want to be a NAVY SEAL..... join the NAVY.

The program did nothing for the Coast Guard.

I'm still trying to figure that one out, too.

The article in the link is over two years old. I can only assume the original poster just learned of it, was excited to hear of the program, and decided to link the article without checking the date.

It (the USCG Seal Program) was discussed extensively here at that time - pros, cons, etc - as well as following the 2 who have made it (3 now, out of 6 who entered the program) through BUD/S.

Whoops, My mistake.

Just had some minor surgery and have been on a Pain Med for a couple days, I should know better then to try and read and type while taking those things.

I apologize for the error.

I agree with you by the way.
