I was just wondering how long it takes for Norwich to conduct their application reviews. I submitted my application about a month ago. I know that I submitted my application pretty late in the year, but I had just found out about Norwich, so I decided to apply. Also, I do live way out of state (Washington State) so maybe this has something to do with it? thanks in advance

I don't have recent data, but perhaps one of the newer folks know. They are pretty organized, though. I don't think distance has anything to do with it, other than a possible USPS delay.

Did you make the application deadline? For Fall enrollment it was Feb1st. If not I would give them a call and see. If you made the deadline than I would assume that you should be hearing from them shortly. They were the fastest to reply to my son last year of all the schools he applied to. He applied in Nov (if my memory is correct) and had his acceptance letter around Christmas and FA package a few weeks later. Good luck:thumb:

Just got an e-mail from them saying they still need my SAT scores, which I have sent and should arrive there shortly. That was probably the delay.
Hoping for the best!

Good luck! Norwich is a terrific school. (yes, I am biased!) :thumb:

For me, I think it was about 2 weeks they let me know after I had all my stuff in. They were great, kept in contact with me the whole time and when I was accepted I got a phone call from my admissions counselor and later an acceptance package

good luck!

Well, got home on Monday of this week (just got back from a trip to disneyland and staying at my dad's house all weekend), walked in and saw a huge envelope sitting on the table. Looked at who it was sent to and where it had come from, to me and from Norwich respectively. I opened it up and found a smaller but still large envelope inside with the words 'Prepare to Excel" on it. Opened that up and saw a nice folder that had not only my acceptance letter, but a nice little certificate saying I was a candidate for the CC and a BS in Computer Science. So, in short, I got in! :shake: Not only that, but I got a $14k renewable scholarship as well! I'll be paying my deposit this weekend.

Good for you!! Congrats.. it is a great school:thumb:

Congratulations

Norwich worked hard to get my DS there, but there was not enough to get him there. He enjoyed his visit. The LCW gave him tools to help with his NJROTC unit. His financial aid package was competitive. Just not enough.
