My son just received an AOG scholarship. His situation is a little weird. Somehow, when he was applying to SLS, he got put into an early physical category and had his physical on 1/31 instead of in July like everyone else. I know that the physicals are valid for two years, so if he doesn't get an appointment before that, it would be invalid.
Does this mean that he has to re-do the whole medical application process (ughh)? If he got his appointment before January 31, presumably he would be ok, but things can take so long. He needed a waiver and didn't get it till Feb this year.
I'm concerned that he will go through this prep year and end up getting rejected. He already has a ROTC scholarship to William and Mary. Thanks
