Young son (hopeful AFA someday) was just diagnosed with Alopecia Areata. Automatic DQ? Waiverable?

ShellZ - It is "possible" it may MEET medical standards and if not, it's "possible" it may MEET waiver criteria. However, becasue there's a full spectrum of this condition, we would really need to see how it affects individuals and where it is in it's current stage. To answer your question as accurately as possible, pls send all pertinent records to me at Larry.Mullen@dodemrb.tma.osd.mil. Pls cut and paste your question from below and place FORUM in the subject line. As soo as you send it, will be as soon as we cvould respond:thumb:

Thanks for the quick reply!! My question is wayyyy premature. (son is in middle school!) Older son is applying to the CGA for the second time around, and thankfully he is medically qualified! It was a really long road for him, so next time around we want to be prepared....hence the really premature question! Thanks again
