Where is the Acceptance Parade held, and where are we expected to park for this when entering the north gate? Thanks!

The parade is held on the parade grounds (Stillman Field) which is just South of the cadet area. Parking is by the fieldhouse. After entering the North gate, continue on North Gate Blvd. You will go past the B-52 at the intersection with Stadium Blvd. Do not turn here. Continue straight on North Gate to the second left, which is Parade Loop. Turn left on Parade Loop and continue to your first right, which is Fieldhouse Drive. That will take you to the fieldhouse. There will probably be lots of Security Forces people at each intersection and there will be signs directing you to where you need to be.

Of course, if their directions contradict mine...please listen to them!

A-Day Parade

I believe the parade starts at 0900. What time would you suggest people get there? Or better yet... what time do we need to be at the North Gate to get to the parade area on time? Thanks!

We were at the gate at 0700 when they began letting people in. It has probably become even more crowded since we were there for A-day (5 years ago), so the earlier you can get in, the better. Especially if you want to make sure that you get seats in front of your Basic's squadron.

It my memory of the last couple parades, plenty of people turn out for the acceptance parade, but the stands are not nearly as packed as say the parent's weekend or graduation parade.

Still, I agree that it can't hurt to show up early.
