Cadet for a Day... help?

And my DD is away at camp. I think they plan it so we have to do the menial things for them!

So the USCGA plans to unplug the campus and depower the servers on the same day they open Cadet for a Day reservations? Several adjectives spring to mind. "Considerate" isn't one of them. We've got hundreds of students and parents out there recreating the first season of LOST -- typing in the magic number and hitting the button for no apparent reason. Sorry for the chippy attitude, but I'm now into hour 14.
No need to apologize. I am plenty annoyed, and if I got no sleep last night I would be Li. Vid.

USCGA Power Outage
There was a planned power outage at USCGA from 0600 until 1600 today AND the weather is to get severe here later this afternoon (it is thundering as I type).
If your S/D attended AIM, and protocol is the same for this coming year's cycle for the Class of 2017, AIMsters will not be given priority for CFAD over those who were qualified and not picked up in this year's lottery.
There are other chances to visit the Academy throughout the school year, especially during the fall semester; please keep an eye on the candidate portal for upcoming events such as STEM.
Please try not to be so hard or consider USCGA inconsiderate; they are only trying to better the physical facilities for current cadets and also for those in the future. Sometimes, like building a home, there are blips in timing. This is the first taste of Semper Gumby and, at times, ole Gumby can be both frustrating and aggravating.

If I remember correctly from reading the calendar last night (and I can't confirm this because the website is down), it says in bold letters that AIM attendees are not eligible for CFAD.
I wish I thought of watching something, I am a big fan of The Closer. I have played a lot of Scrabble today instead. Who knew "xi" was a word?
