I have not seen this question addressed on the forum so I figured I would ask:

How does the Army ROTC four-year scholarship board assign points to the PFT? What is the scoring table and what is the max score on each event (push-ups, curl-ups, and one mile run) that a scholarship applicant can receive?

I will be taking my PFT within the next week and I would like to know what is considered above-average on the three events so I can aim for a good score.

I read online that the PFT consists of 150 points out of the total 1400 points, so am I just stressing out over something that I shouldn't be? I would like to score above-average to strengthen my file and hopefully be awarded a four-year scholarship.

I don't have the answer you're looking for, but I wouldn't be too worried. I did about 45 pushups, 55 situps, and a 6:40 and ended up getting a scholarship. I think if your other things (ie leadership, grades, interview, etc) go well you shouldnt need to worry to much about the PFT

They told us they were going to assign a score this year, but I haven't seen a scoring table yet. I think it's safe to assume it will be similar to the score for the APFT, in that 1 point for each pushup, 1 for each situp, and 1 for each 6 sec on the run.
I think the best course of action is to lie awake every night for the next week worrying about how you are going to squeeze one extra situp out of your body, and how if you don't you'll never succeed in life...just kidding...do the best you can. That's all we can ask for. There are so many other variable to the process that this PFT isn't going to make or break you. And every other applicant is taking the same test you are. You aren't the first one to go through this (see above).

Thank you very much for both of your replies. I will do my best on the PFT and see what happens.
