I just took my physicals a few weeks ago, and my status on the DoDMERB website says my application is "complete-hold." what does this mean?

thank you!!

I got this when I did mine too. It means that you have completed all of your side of the medical exam, but DoDMETS hasn't sent in all of their paper work. It's annoying, because this usually means DoDMETS hasn't received something from the Dr. office that did your exam yet.

In my case, it turned out that they forgot to have me fill out one page of the form, and I had to fax in the page to the Dr. office. What made it worse was they lost the fax and didn't call me to tell me they needed another one. So after waiting two weeks, I called into the Dr. office again to find out that I had to fax in the page again. (It ended up taking about a month and a half before I finally received "qualified" status from DoDMERB.)

So, in your case, you probably completed everything and the Dr. office probably hasn't sent in all of their paperwork yet. It's just a waiting game, because they don't have to submit the paperwork until the date marked on your DoDMETS page.

I can easily say that the medical exam was the least pleasant part of the application for me, but that's yet another story...

No problem. You can PM me if you have any other questions that come up. Of course, there's never anything wrong with calling DoDMERB or DoDMETS! :thumb:

Which is probably the best thing to do. There is a lot of behind the scenes work that goes on in getting you qualified. Also remember that these offices have their own patients to work with on top of seeing ROTC applicants - it can get hectic.

We do everything we can at Concorde to obtain what is needed as quickly as possible. We do not send incomplete or erroneous exams to DoDMERB as every applicant deserves to be evaluated on the same playing field. So, we will hold your exam until it is ready for evaluation. :thumb:

If you ever have any questions, please feel free to call us (800-966-9790) or e-mail us (dodmerbstaff@concorde2000.com), and we will do everything we can to help. Most of the time, we just need your patience while we track down the missing link. If something is missing on your end, you will hear/would have heard from Concorde.

Cheers,
Joe

How long does it usually take for the results (DQ, Qualified, etc.) to come after the status on dodmets changes to Complete-Hold?

The DoDMETS status is not a good barometer of "how long until I'm qualified..." until the status is "CLOSED". A complete-hold can be a variety of different things and is actually, in my opinion, not a bad thing. Our job is to make sure these exams are PERFECT, so you are represented 100% accurately, and the US Government knows exactly what they are receiving in you.

A complete-hold means that we found something we need fixed or want to make sure of. My team is very aggressive in holding cases - we want them to be perfect and accurate, and we are confident in beating our mission goals because of the relationships we have built.

Joe

Little bro's status on the online system is now "pending." He got DQed for a couple minor things that were resolved years ago, but are still a "history of" issue.

What does "pending" mean? Has the waiver process been initiated?

Which website? DODMETS.com or the DoDMERB website?

Pending for us means we have your appointment dates in our system and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of your examinations.

Cheers,
Joe
