Hi! Weird question. I have a family friend getting married next year and if I get in, I was wondering if mids are given special liberty for family events like that? I know I should really wait to cross that bridge when I get there, haha. Just was curious.

Almost always to the degree it is a relatively closer relative. lol family friend might "depend" on any number of things. I'd be disinclined to hold my breath waiting on that one. Maybe some others see it otherwise.

It depends. But i wouldn't count on it. If the wedding is in or very close to annapolis on a Saturday afternoon/night or sunday morning/afternoon, your chances are pretty good. if it falls from sunday night to saturday morning your chances are pretty much non-existent.

My S has now missed three weddings of cousins - two first cousins and one second cousin. Unable to get leave for any of them.
