Congratulations on your appointment! Your stats are impressive. Any sports?

Yes ma'am! I apologize for not mentioning those! I do varsity swimming, varsity track and field, and then junior varsity cross country. Thank you so very much!

Top SAT/ACT scores?

AND were both your top scores from the same test (SAT or ACT? Or both? Which was which?)

Roger! My SAT Score were:

680 Math
630 Critical Reading
730 Writing

If you guys want to know let me know! And thank you so much for all of the congratulations! Truly appreciated!

A huge weight is off of my shoulders, you're right! I'm now more than every engaged in my classes; I'm doing whatever I can to prepare myself for next summer! Thank you so much 91733M!

Wings ... congrats!

Clarification ... your scores are reported in SAT mode. Were all in fact taken from SAT testing experiences?

I'm unsure of what you mean by SAT mode. They are all scores which I have acquired from actual SAT testing experiences.

Congrats WoH!

One small piece of advice for all you early appointment people out there... Do not throttle back now. Do not let Senioritis kick in and you miss a grade here and there. There are horror stories out there of people easing way back and getting a low grade and getting a sorry but we're taking this appointment back because you failed semester 8 math. But do relax and enjoy your senior year a HUGE weight has just been lifted off your shoulders and you've EARNED this high you're feeling right now. Be proud and hold your head a little higher today!

You answered my question, i.e. was one of your subject area scores from SAT and the other from ACT? One from each? Which was which? Or both from same test (NOT test event)? Which exam, i.e. ACT or SAT?

Again congrats! NOW the work begins anew! And it'll be like you've never "newn!" :shake:

Re: Boozebin's good point ... allow me to add one that is far more important than the grade. It's called "LEARNING!" And while grades and mental engagement might be coincident, as we all know, not necessarily, especially as seniors. You want to remain mentally engaged, actively learning, and preparing for both your exemption exams AND the mental challenges of Plebe summer and year. THAT's the real point.

Roger that! Thank you so much for the advice; as Whistle Pig mentioned, my main goal now is to remain engaged in all I do to prepare me for the rigors of plebe year. Again, thank you so much for the congratulations! A huge weight has been lifted and I am now just so very happy! :)

Haha my apologies for the confusion! I submitted only my SAT; I didn't do as well on my ACT comparatively. I'd also like to mention a slight change to my recent post. I misunderstood the question of "what are your SAT scores." Those scores are the one that reflect my abilities now. When I submitted my scores; the scores considered for my admission into the USNA, were as follows:

630 Math
610 Critical Reading
650 Writing

The previously mentioned scores are my most recent scores, and I misposted. The above scores were the ones in the system when I received my acceptance. Again, if anyone requires any more information, please let me know! I would also like to add that I submitted 3 additional letters of recommendation! They were all wonderful; one consisting of a Navy Captain who has known me since my elementary school days!
Again, my apologies for the confusion! :)

Mind telling us if you were from a competitive state? You don`t have to tell us which one, but I was curious as to if if was one of the most competitive or not.

Again WOW! :thumb:

Who else wrote you additional rec letters? Did they reveal anything outside of what your application showed? Contemplating this
