I`m planning on applying to both USNA, USMA, NROTC-MO, and AROTC.

If I don`t get accepted into a SA, but DO receive a scholarship, can I do that for a year, and then reapply for a SA? Would I be able to just "quit" ROTC even though I was on a scholarship? And say if I ultimately want to go to USNA, and am only offered a AROTC scholarship, can I do Army ROTC for a year and then go to USNA? Or would it be frowned upon that I did Army ROTC?

Thanks to all who answer!

yes, yes, yes and no. good luck.

I was in your (almost) exact shoes last year - applied to USNA (top choice), USMA, AROTC, NROTC-MO, and USCGA. Denied by USCGA and USNA, waitlisted at USMA, messed up paperwork so I was never even an official applicant for NROTC, and I received a 4yr full tuition for AROTC. The recruiting officer at my school told my parents that I could reapply and if I got in, I could go (you don't owe the Army any time and/or money until the first day of your sophomore year for 4yr scholarships), so it is very possible.
