When do you find out if you are triple qualified? I have a Senatorial nomination and feel very strong in every category of admission so I was curious as to when I would find out.

DoDmerb

Have you received your Dodmerb authorization? And, if so did you pass?

Is You File...

Is your file completed? You have your CAR verified, you teacher evals (SOE), your essays, transcripts sent in?

Standardized Tests

Have you sent in your SAT and ACT test scores? Are they close to the last "mean"?

My entire file has been complete for a couple of months now and my scores are all above the means.

Green Light

On your portal, if all areas show green, you're good. I would contact your FFR or RC, they should have the most current info, and discuss your status. On their access points may show you are 3Qd way before you receive a letter from admissions stating so. In my opinion, you are set, and ready to begin the most difficult part, waiting for February.

I'm with ya, we are all waiting.

Yeah I'm in the same boat as you. My entire portal is green and I have already passed the CFA. DoDMERB sent me a letter saying I'm qualified, and my test scores are all above the mean. Maybe they're just in the mail or something but I was wondering the same exact thing.

Just for a reference point, my DS received his fully qualified letter today. His portal icons turned all green several weeks ago and his Medical Status was listed as Qualified the first week of November.

He received a letter last month that stated that he was academically and physically qualified. This was while he was waiting for his final DODMERB status.

So, it just takes a little while for the paperwork to percolate out of the system.

So if I have been academically and physically qualified since the summer and have not received anything should I be concerned? Do you think one of the reasons for no physical mail saying I am qualified is because my first semester college transcripts are not in(since the semester is not over yet)?

Since you are a college student, your file will not be evaluated (ie Qualified) until West Point receives your 1st semester transcript.

IOW - you can not be 3Q'd until the transcript in sent.

But I'm a high school student and I'm almost positive that I'm fully qualified: academically, physically, and I have the qualification letter from DoDMERB. However, I have still not obtained a 3Q letter. Should I be concerned?

From my observations, different RCs handled 3Q letter differently. Some RCs appears to good about sending them and some don't bother with them.

I still have my "QUALIFIED AND ON USMA WAITING LIST" letter, dated APRIL 2, 1990.
