Taking a survey- what the heck do you plan on doing when you win the $500 million Powerball lottery? Personally I run out of ideas on how to spend the dough at less than $1 million (pay off the Mortgage; New car for my wife;67 Corvette for me; Fully fund college for my daughter; long vacation; upgrade the master bed/bathroom). I fear I must be lacking in imagination:eek:
So: what are your big plans for your giant windfall? ( which undoubtedly will be accompanied by news of hell freezing completely solid:rolleyes:)

Well, for starters it wouldn't be $500 million after the government took their share...

But I'm sure I'd find ways to use it.

Just as boring imagination.

Pay off College for Son.. Send Daughter to college... I'd upgrade the house too..with a bulldozer... or maybe an addition a few thousand square feet. Winter home not in the northeast .. Big college fund for grandsons. Share quite a bit with family and change my phone number immediately.. Call my boss and tell her to come get her uniform shirts off of my lawn:biggrin:

Pay off two current tuitions and old private school tuition loans. Change old carpet to hard wood floor. Get new cars, newer than ten years. Home at Bald Head Island, Emerald Isle and Aruba. Mortgage gone. Then just dream on a very secluded beach somewhere.:thumb: Live the Corona commercial.

Live the Corona commercial.

Now that is a suggestion worth considering:thumb::thumb: Actually I wonder if all of that money will make me a clone of this Beer Icon??:

Small update... the tickets have been flying today they are now reporting $550 million jackpot... $360 million cash value.... and some quick math of $234 million after Uncle Sam takes his cut this year. Claim this prize in January and you could be facing some different taxes.

I joined an office pool here and there's 44 of us on it each threw in $10. I wish everyone luck.... me especially

What would I do with $234mil? I'd immediately set aside a large chunk, and take the interest as my salary. So, let's say $100mil to give myself a nice, guaranteed $1mil/year or more. I'd buy a new house or two, on a good amount of land. Perhaps a shooting range and heliport at one of them. Definitely get a plane and helo. Give a bunch away to friends, give a bunch to charity. Then, travel, volunteer/work wherever I feel like, etc.

Unfortunately that isn't enough to put a surplus F15 on that runway. Need it to grow a couple more weeks for that. :yllol:

Buy all the cheese doodles I can, then donate it to starving kids.

Oh sure it is...

I flew the "C" model, definitely sweet...:thumb:

But a "sitting in the boneyard A Model" would be a nice toy to play with!!!

We have had this discussion at our house all week. First there is a sweet little estate on the Maine Coast we like. Obviously another spot, a tad warmer. Golf camp for sure! I will need Anika's number for that. I will be a regular for all the Blue and Gray golf tournaments next year. Gifts to family and causes of course. Lumineers, a personal trainer.......in Maui.......I just won't have a thing to wear.........DH will retire one minute after the big win..........oh boy, better go check the numbers because it is time! I think I will wait until morning and let the dream go a little longer.
If you hear a Midwestern city lost a dozen or so police officers brcause they all suddenly retired, you all won't hear from me for awhile:thumb: we will be on the golf course!
Good luck to all

Blast- it appears as though my life has taken an unexpected turn and I will not be a half billionaire today. Who could have seen this cruel twist of fate?

DOS XX is a great Beer and they do have some great commercials. Is that your picture? Great Cervesas.
