I received a principal MOC nomination and a LOA this past week to KP. The web portal has not yet reported my nomination. My question is, what's next? I appreciate any recommendations or pieces of advice.

You're in!

Principal nomination means you are one of the 535 sacred cows, pending your LOA. If you have both...congratulations. Start running now, you'll need it.

USMMA doesn't work the same as the other Academies since there are far less than 535 slots in any entering Class. What's next is you first compete with the other nominees from your state for their allocated number of spots in the next entering class based on the CFR. Then you compete for the unused slots from the States that don't fill their allocation. The process is all described in the applicable section of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).

Scroll down to Paragraph 310.57 and it describes what is next; also the prior paragraphs 310.54 through 310.56 explain the selection criteria in broad brush parameters.

Good luck!

You are almost there, keep working and working out. Be patient (I know it is hard) you have done the best you possibly can. The decision is now out of your control.
