If an injury occurs during LDAC, how is this handled?

Does Cadet Command take over care and costs during this period or does the cadet's private insurance continue to be responsible?

I believe the Army takes care of the cost since they are on orders to LDAC, at least that was my understanding.
 
They should. Cadets that get hurt during ROTC at their home school, they are covered by federal workers comp. Army pays for everything.
