SATs v. College GPA

My SATs (1910) are Math 730, Reading 630 and Writing 550 :)mad:). My first semester college grades have been finalized and I got a 4.0! By getting a 4.0 (primarily Plebe courses as well) does this make up for semi-low test scores and make me significantly more competitive? Thanks!

It will help but a lot depends on the college. Cornell would make more of an impression than Big Square State Rural Community College.
