Happy New Year everyone!

Does anyone know when the cadets find out what their summer assignment will be...and more importantly (for the parents!), which summer session they get to come home?

There have been some past threads on this over the years that seem to start up late Feb early Mar... so I would assume that's approximately when they find out. [Past performance is no indicator of the future]
 
We have been told that we will find out our preliminary schedules mid-February.

Thank you for your quick responses! Looks like multiple bookings (with full refunds) for vacation plans are in order :)

Absolutely. Our son had his summer schedule changed at least once every year he was there. Once it was changed during Grad week and we scrambled to change plans with one week's notice. Always be prepared for the unexpected.

I know some cadets take an academic course in lieu of leave. Can only one course be taken per summer or are there any situations that would allow for courses to be taken during 2 of the summer periods?
