ROTC Nominations: When do they appear on the portal?

When will the ROTC nomination appear under the portal? The form was sent out a few months ago. I know the 'due date' is January 30th, will they be processed then?
 
I believe you may want to post this thread under the ROTC section. My son received his West Point congressional nom and is notated in his USMA portal. However, ROTC is still awaiting and it is found in the AROTC portal. I am not sure what you mean when you are looking for a nomination to ROTC though. If you mean acceptance to the AROTC program, check the AROTC portal not the USMA portal.

I believe the OP is talking about the West Point nomination that comes from JROTC SAIs and ROTC PMSs.

OP, if it has been more than two weeks since your PMS/SAI sent in the form (I recommend asking them when they sent it in) contact your admissions team at the USMA Admissions Office.
 
Call them....our school sent out 3 copies to USMA. They get soooooo much mail, 2 of them got lost in the mail somehow. My DS kept calling and writing and then finally after the 3rd was mailed out, it showed on his portal. I would suggest that your JROTC commander call on your behalf, they might let him/her fax the paperwork in. Good Luck.
 
Mine appeared on the portal no more than 2 weeks after sending the form. I would definitely contact admissions if I were you.
 
Thank you all for your replies. Yes, I am speaking of the Form 5-497 which is filled out by the professor of military science. It was sent out back in November and nothing has appeared yet. I just emailed my candidate technician. If they have not received it yet, I will call the admissions team immediately and contact my PoMS.
