I have a question or two about Recognition for the Class of 2016. I have seen the dates of March 7-9. Will there be an event on the 9th for friends, family to attend? I was just wondering if there would be a parade or some event that we wouldn't want to miss, or is it just private for the cadets?
Thanks in advance for the info.

Nope, just for cadets.

Just for cadets, but WebGuy will be taking photos where they can of Recognition activities, so make sure you can still access your account.

Saturday culminates with "run to the rock" -- where the Firsties and the 4*s head out to a rock formation (can't remember the name of it). The Firsties are remembering their journey and the 4* are thrilled to be almost thru recognition. The 4*s will bring back from the "run" their "charge" -- a heavy 4x4 (3x3?) by 8' item (think it might be concrete but don't know) to the T'zo.
From there they go back to their rooms to get dressed for the squadron recognition ceremonies, in their CS area. From there onto a celebratory dinner where their class exemplar is revealed.

Keep your phone available for later -- so good to hear their voice saying something like -- "I'm casually strolling diagonally across the T'zo in my civilian clothes -- feels so good!"

Just can't wait for this, and that's only me. I can't imagine the sense of achievement this is for the 4 degrees.

Here's pulling for Neil Armstrong!!!!
