USNA appointments

Am I right to assume at this point that it is down to appointments from the national pool that will fill the rest of the class of 2017 USNA. When would one expect to hear and how would you hear? mail,email,phone call??

I doubt that's correct. I expect there are at least some, and perhaps many, competitive slates that need to be resolved at this point. Assuming you had a MOC nomination, you might be able to find out from their office if the appointee has been determined yet for their slate.

We were told at CVW that alot of the appointments had not gone out because MOC have waited to last day to submit slates.
 
I also believe that it is too soon to make that judgment. If you check the appointment thread, you will only see 27 states represented. Check to see if your State/District is represented there and you might want to call your MOC. If anyone from your slate received an appointment, they will know. USNA alerts them before mailng the BFE.
 
Ok thank you...this is such a stressfull time but know the process is all worth if if offered that appointment!
