Recieved two disquals from DoDMERB for "exercise induced asthma after 13 years old" and another for "dizziness episodes."

Recieved message from USAFA saying they're starting up the waiver process also.

For the dizziness episode, it only occured once and I had a doctor write a letter to them stating that, since it was a mix up.

For the exercise induced asthma, I had an inhalor when I was 13 but never had to use it. Took a lung function test for the academy on my own and did fine. Did well on the CFA also. Got a letter from the pulmonologist stating i'm cleared and sent that in to DoDMERB too.

Does anyone know if the letters would help that much or if it would be possible to have the waivers granted? I know there may not be an absolute answer, but any advice is appreciated.

It looks as if you have done all you can do. If USAFA is requesting a waiver, that is a good sign. That is much better than a straight DQ. The process is not a fast one, so do your best to be patient. Since you have sent in the letters from your Dr.s, there is really nothing left for you to do. Best wishes. :thumb:
