Just out of curiousity, does anyone know/have/know where I can find a schedule for beast? I have Googled it numerous times but I can not find a schedule anywhere.

R DAY - Message for Parents

Parents, it is worth mentioning that if you do attend R Day, you should go by the Daughters of the Army gift shop at the Museum off post and buy the book written by mom3boys. Although it came out when my DS was a Firstie, we bought it nonetheless and have found it to be accurate about the WP experience from a parents point of view. It would have been nice to have it on the front end.

What do you mean, "schedule"? Do you mean the day-to-day activities during CBT? If you go to the USMA website and find last year's Supt briefing, you will see a breakdown of approximately when different events occur during the training period. This information is on the parent's resource page. I made it easy for you this time:

That is exactly what I was looking for, thank you very much.

I just started reading my copy and can't seem to get past page 34-35 without shedding many tears. DS and family are hitting the slopes this weekend to try to keep our minds occupied until Feb 26. Praying for no injuries and a BFE when we return back home.

I think Debbie wrote that chapter; she wrote the ones that make people cry--I wrote the ones that cut to the chase ("just the facts, ma'am").

We as parents are very fortunate to have so many information resources available to us. This forum was a God-send back in 2007 when my son decided to apply.

Make sure you new moms hook up with the West Point Moms on facebook =)
