Does anyone know if i have to take all the freshmen courses again if i am from other college? If not, how does it work?

You will have to take plebe classes over again. That said, validation is possible. Course validation policy is online.

For any course that doesn't offer a validation test during plebe summer, you can speak to the department chair about validation. I've heard of Cyber being validated in this way; they pretty much give you a final exam; if you pass with a decent score you can validate.

Commonly validated courses are English, Calc I and II, and Chem. Some plebes even managed to validate Calc III and Physics.

I wouldn't count on validating English.

I have no idea where that comes from, but a good deal of plebes do validate English I. English II is more rare, but possible.

I keep hearing about online validation before reporting but no details on how to go about it. Is this something that comes in the Report packet (after BFE) or does an appointee simply reach out to Admissions? Can someone shed some light on this topic?

Math placement exams and Calc I validation will be administered online through CABS (cabs.usna.edu). Appointees will receive information on when CABS opens with the Permit to Report package.
