This is my first post here and I'm a little nervous.

DD was just informed that she is now 3'Qd.
(Not telling how she found out... It is a most trusted source, though.)

She has also received a PNom from her MOC. I THINK I know what is likely to happen, but wanted to check in with the experts on this site. Can you advise?

Thanks!

She will be accepted. I was in the same situation 2 years ago and received an appointment.

Yikes! That means we might have to buy another sweatshirt! (She has a USAFA grad brother and a current USMMA brother.) Thanks for the information. We aren't counting on anything until it actually happens.

ANOTHER sweatshirt? You may well be soon able to open a branch of the Mid Store in your neighborhood.

Get ready for the most expensive "free" ride you'll ever take. You may want to consider redoing the living room in Navy Blue & Gold that it will match the rest of your life.

Congrats! Stay thirsty, my friend!

We visited the USNA for the first time when DD went to NASS in June- An amazing experience for all of us. Keeping our fingers crossed...

No need! She's "in" ... as long as she behaves, stays healthy, doesn't get pregnant! :thumb:

All that remains is the paperwork. USNA's and your DD's.

Time to get ready. There's a train a comin' ...

A song for you! Listen well to the Blind Boys of Alabama!

LOVE THE SONG!!! The words are perfect.

While the USNA is new to us, academy life is not. Our "ride" began in 2004 when oldest son went to USAFA Prep School. Then, youngest brother started NWP in 2009, when oldest graduated from USAFA. He started USMMA in 2010. Now Little Sis may get a ticket to ride. Another four years?! That will make 13 straight years of academies! No wonder I have to color my hair! Thanks so much for the song:smile:

2 more kids and you can complete the SA Grand Slam.

Congratulations. I hope my daughter will be classmates with your daughter. I have a son who is considering trying the academy route next year. Lots of patience and waiting. Would you mind sharing what state you are from?

Awesome video!

Blue, our DS is in the same "boat." Hope all these folks are right as I keep searching our mailbox daily!

Congratulations, Blue Skies!! Still waiting for our DS to hear. Not a recruited athlete so I am sure he is just in the pool.
