Sorry if this has already been addressed - I looked through previous threads but may have missed it. I have seen several posts about students being offered admission to NAPS but have there been some for USAFAPS also? Also, I assume most Prep school offers will come after the mass appointment mailing in late March/early April, but will those students first be told they're not getting an appointment or will they just be offered admission to PS instead of appointment? (In other words, once they get the dreaded TWE - or as we've been told on these forums that the CIS will change - is there still hope for USAFAPS or not). Just curious!

I am also interested in getting response to question. Maybe a current prep student can give us experience from last year. Hard to tell if this year will be any different. Also, I would also be interested in thoughts on same question applied to MAPS and NAPS.
 
Hey, I'm a current prep school student so I might be able to give you some insight.

I received a TWE March of last year after the long stressful wait. Then was told not to give up hope, because the prep school offers hadn't gone out yet. I got a prep school offer a month later on April 18th.

I also heard there won't be any TWEs this year. Just portal updates saying appointment wasn't offered. (To save money on mail is my guess.)

So I know you just replied to my post, are you waiting for an answer as well? But for me they didnt give me a denial letter, on March 1(1 days ago lol) they just said congrats and gave me my prep school offer. After the 240 slots for the prep school are filled, I think they give out the ff scholarships though I am not completely sure!! I hope I helped :)
