This is probably a stupid question but I would really like an answer. I am trying to apply to the Academy and was wondering if I would need to take the ASVAB?
Thanks

The Academy accepts SAT and ACT scores. As far as I know, the only people that take the ASVAB are Enlisted.

No. The Academy doesn't care about the ASVAB, nor does it even know whether or not you take it. The ASVAB is for ROTC scholarship consideration only.

ROTC doesn't even require the ASVAB for scholarship consideration.

This is strictly for enlistment. As insider said, USAFA doesn't know/care whether or not you take the ASVAB and ROTC won't either.

Later in ROTC, should you choose that route and be successful, you will eventually take the AFOQT (Air Force Officer's Qualifying Test) but that's for another thread.

No for the ASVAB

They don't allow you to post the ASVAB to your portal "officially". With that being said, I think you should stick it in your academic achievements if you did very well on it
