Ah...I see you survived the mountain STN. What's this I hear about the alternative use of a credit card? :yllol:

Whether or not I have a future as a lock smith (or a cat burglar) is none of your business if you please. ;)

I heard they are streaming the event live this year as the baseball team will be in Florida.

That's one of the rumors. The other is that the baseball team finds out their billets 8 hours ahead of the rest of us.

Oy ve!

Trust and distrust every rumor, but repeat them all! That's the cadet way!!! :thumb:

Shame that they cannot be there in person.

Seeing the pictures of the reactions - the smiles, the joy, the hugs among shipmates, the celebration afterward -- from last year's event was great, and I was very happy for my son when he got his 1st choice.

Hoping everyone gets their 1st choice as well..

Nice! I like it in Leamy! We had ours in the O-Club. You have a little more room to celebrate here, eh?

Good luck folks, it's an exciting and scary night all at once. Some people will be very very happy, others not as happy.

On a side note, love that extremely attractive class crest above the doors....

Being an even year... it's your only fault LITS :shake:

2013 walked through those same doors on R-Day in 2009, they had to notice it back then I'm sure....

But it was raining pretty hard that day as I remember, so maybe they didn't see it.

They've moved around a bit, I think as some of the crests were stacked. I'm not sure though, I'll have to find a formal dance photo I think it's in....

Oh, wonderful 2006 crest.

"LITS is that a 110' on your class crest?"

"Nope that's a 123', back before they fell apart and became the Coast Guard's black eye."

If my memory serves me correctly (though odds are it doesn't) I don't think it started raining til lunch... and it cleared up by 1400 for the class photo.

In even years, it rains blood.

But when I was a swab, it was too hot to rain. But that didn't stop the deer flies from biting or the swabs from puking up freshly downed water. And when we showed, it was in acid.

Oh, to be part of the old guard :yllol:

It's okay, these days the swabs aren't allowed to be yelled at in the wardroom. it would upset their delicate sensibilities or some such nonsenese.

T&F can probably tell you more about that one, as well as about all the other changes that I'm apparently not allowed to discuss cuz they're super secret and confidential.

STRESS CARD!!! At least the Cow still walks and talks.

It's amazing how prolific it's milk can be.

Oy LITS, something else you might be interested to know. It's sad when SAF becomes a topic of conversation in the wardroom, particularly when it's how the AF doesn't know when to stop...

"That stinking LITS. He has no clue." said 2/c CGA cadet X to 2/c cadet Y.

I would think there are a number of conversations on SAF that would translate nicely into wardroom conversations.
