Vision Test on I-day

Hey everyone.
I posted this question in the Dodmerb section, but I'm sure it would be better seen here--any insight is greatly appreciated.

I'm currently an appointee to the USAFA.
I'm aware that we will all be medically examined on I-day--will a vision test be part of this examination? My concern is that my vision may have gotten worse by then. What would be grounds for disqualification on I-day regarding vision?

I am considered "qualified" through DODMERB and needed no waivers, but I currently wear contact lenses at -7.00 diopters, which I believe is pretty close to being disqualifying...
Thanks!

Farsightedness (hyperopia) no greater than +8.00 diopters and nearsightedness (myopia) no greater than -8.00 diopters spherical equivalent.

Waiver or DQ?

Are the -8.00 / +8.00 diopter number the max that they will waiver, so more than that you are un-waiverable? Or are these the max you can have, but be correctible to 20/20 or 20/40, and not need a waiver?

well mine were -7.00 and I didn't need a waiver...

My main question, though, is whether or not they re-test your eyes on I-day.
