Today - all those NOT SELECTED for SLE were sent an email.
 
Our DD had received a letter indicating she was on the wait list and would hear something by April 15th. She did not get an email today, does this mean she may still have a shot in going? Was there any change in their portal accounts today if candidates were informed that they were not selected to attend?
 
Portals take a little longer to update. Expect to see items posted a day or so afterwards. Usually after midnight eastern when the updates synch in the databases.
 
Still haven't seen anything considering myself on the portal or email, good thing USNA responded.
 
Thankfully I ended up getting in. Very gracious to whoever gave me the last second nudge!
 
Unfortunately I am one of those candidates who didn't get accepted BUT I did get accepted for Boys' State in NJ :smile:

My DS did not get selected for last summers sls(now sle) too and also attended boys state.
Once you have your application completed next Fall, continue to update grades, scores and ECAs until the portal closes. For this years class it was 2/28.
DS received his appointment the end of February.
