How is one accepted to the Summer Seminar? Is it a random drawing or do they view your information?

It is not random at all - it's a competitive process. I haven't been to it, but from my understanding it involves submitting SAT/PSAT scores, transcripts, etc. It's not like going to summer camp.

You submit Test Scores, GPA (maybe, can't remember if that was NASS), Leadership Positions, Athletics, etc. It's the preliminary USAFA Application, more goes into it than you would think.

Hello Patrick! Welcome to the forum!

I HEARD that some sort of written response was now being instituted in the application process. The SS application is not a part of your actual Academy application; you will still be required to fill out the Pre-Candidate Questionnaire when the time comes. The application will consist of your: GPA, class rank, SAT/ACT/PSAT/PLAN scores and resume. A transcript and recommendations are not a part of the application and will not be reviewed if submitted. I hope this helped!
