Active duty commission

I have 4 year AROTC scholarship to Virginia Tech. Since VT is an SMC, does that mean I am guaranteed to get an Active Duty commission? I can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere.
 
Everyone in Advanced Standing at an SMC is guaranteed Active Duty commission if they want it! Congrats though, mind posting your high school stats? Also, did you do your PMS interview at VT?

Something I should have posted in the other thread: There are no real guarantees in life except death and taxes. Active duty is still at discretion of PMS at SMC. Get good grades, stay away from trouble, stay in top shape PT wise, good relationships with ROTC department you have a great chance of that PMS decision. Then again, if you do that at most AROTC programs at other than SMC colleges you have a good chance also.
