Checked my status today, I was denied:(

I am very sad about this, but luckily I have plan B underway. I will be going to the University of North Florida, and participating at Jacksonville University's NROTC unit as a college programmer. Hopefully I receive a 3 or 2 year scholarship, and if not, I hope to be on Advanced Standing by next year.

Sorry to hear the news but good for you in continuing to pursue it. Sideload scholarships can be had. Hit the first PFA out of the park, volunteer when appropriate, and demonstrate your leadership when given the opportunity. Good luck!

Thanks Kinnem! Your input is always valued! UNF is not my number one college choice, but JU's unit awarded side load scholarships to 7 out of the 9 that put in packages. I know if I want one, this unit will help me the most. After all, my ultimate goal is to become an officer, I shouldn't be so picky about schools, especially since this one has an amazing unit.
