NROTC Marine Option and MARPAT

Ok I've not been able to get a straight answer from anywhere online, so if any of y'all could answer this question id much appreciate it. Do NROTC Marine Option Midshipmen wear MARPAT cammies or do they wear the older BDUs? All of the stuff I'm able to find online is from 5+ years ago, so I figured I could use some up to date info. Thanks
 
Depends on the unit and what's available. And why would it matter as long as you're wearing what everyone else is wearing? DS's unit is generally in analog woodlands. They may have MARPAT as well but if so, I've never seen it mentioned.
 
kinnem- it doesn't matter to me, I was just asking to gather some general information as to what I will be wearing next year
 
Don't be caught off school or base with cammies on though and don't be that freshman who wears them around all day even when their class is over.

+1 to Aglahad. That is verbotten. I didn't finally get to see my kid in uniform until almost 2 years after entering NROTC because of the rules. He wouldn't even put it on at home just so I could see him. I had to go visit him at school on a uniform day to finally pull it off. Well worth the wait to see him in his summer whites. :smile:
