In January of this year, I requested information from the USMA website, thinking I'd be able to get more information from the Academy. In doing so, I gave a measure of personal information, most importantly my year of graduation (2015, I'm a sophomore), and I believe I created an application account by accident. However, I think some computer read my information wrong (I'm guessing it thinks I'm a junior), as I keep getting email and snail mail suggesting that I apply for the USMA Class of 2018 using this account that I accidentally created.
After realizing I created an account, I logged on, and was met by a page requesting my YOG and Soc Security #. Giving both, I was told I was not eligible to apply for the class of 2018.
Will I be able to use the same account when I apply next year? I'm concerned that the info that I submitted has been put into a file for someone applying for the class of 2018, and the information may somehow prevent me from applying for the class of 2019.
Is this a problem at all? Is there anyone is should contact about this?
If this post was too confusing, I apologize.
