On my SLE packing list, it says I should bring 4 pairs of Khaki pants/shorts. Does this mean Khaki as is in the color or style?

In my school district, we have a dress code and we are required to wear Khaki style pants. We are not limited to the traditional tan/beige color, we are able to wear others such as black, green, white, etc. Because of this, I'm not exactly sure what the list means by Khaki.

If anybody can clarify this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Khaki refers to the color, not the style.
Although pens and paper are not required, I would highly recommend them.

Most people when I was there last year wore khaki shorts as opposed to pants, but feel free to bring a combination of each. Also, paper, pens, pencils, a calculator if you're taking a math session, would be great to bring.
