Confusion regarding plebe summer detailers

Which class will be the detailers for the upcomming plebe summer? I always thought it was the class that had just finished their sophomore academic year, but now I have other people telling me that they are the midshipmen who have just finished their junior academic year. Which is it?
 
Pretty sure it is all those that finished Junior year and are upcoming 1/C as detailers. They do switch half way through during Plebe Summer as they finish their Summer assignments and are reassigned to Plebe Summer as Cadre. First session Cadre then are relived and do their Summer. It can be a big change for Plebes.
 
Detailers are 1/C - DD is looking forward to being a Squad Leader.
 
Detailers are 1/C with the exception of the admin officer, a rising 2/C (so for this summer a 2015er) who then becomes Plebe Summer CC the following summer.

Rumor mill back when I was a mid was that they were trying to go back to the old model of 2/C squad leaders but it hasn't happened yet.

osdad- plebe summer SL was, hands down, The best leadership training and most fun I had as a mid. Your daughter's going to have a blast.
 
Our current second class who will be your firsties are going to be your detailers and you have a first set and second set. Where 15 comes into your training is in the ac year when they are you training sergeants who can control your year basically.

There is no such rule that the admin 2/c is the default CC for the next plebe summer. Maybe thats the way it was for your company.

If it's not a rule that's a recent change back (and for the better, IMO). That summer they were pretty adamant that was how it was supposed to work across the brigade.
