I have heard that some academies give appiontments at graduation or awards ceremonies. If USMMA does this, do I set it up or does KP set it up?

It is actually on both of your parts. You'll need to quick call admissions & ask them for the Academy's letter that they use for just this instance. They will fax you a copy or snail mail it per your request. Also ask if there will be a representative available to so the award presentation. It will probably be a grad who lives near you & they'll be able to hook you up with them. Its very impressive for graduation or awards nights and well worth the time to set it up! :thumb:

That would be sooooooooooooo COOL

Thank you for your quick response. I live in south western Connecticut, do you think it possible an admissions officer would come to present the appointment?:usa:

More than likely a USMMA Field Representative.

There are many throughout the country, they do an excellent job presenting the appointment at your high school awards night.

USMMA Admissions Field Representatives

We were lucky enough to have a field representative from the school make a presentation at my son's (USMMA Class of 2012) high school awards assembly. The rep was an Airline Pilot who was an alumni of Kings Point. He did a great job. There are not enough admissions officers to make it to awards assemblies. Our presentation was set up by our local USMMA Parent's Association. Once you accept yout appointment you should be contacted by them about membership or look them up on the school website and ask about a presentation being set up. Your local association is a great asset.

Graduation or Awards Ceremony

Where is the presentation made? I have heard of both. I think our High School will go along with any suggestions or recommendations we supply. Thanks in advance.

Hello and Congrats on the Appointment...

As stated above - Field Reps usually present the awards for candidates that they have worked with throughout the acceptance process... As a Field Rep for the last few years I have always looked forward to these events. If you didn't work with a Field Rep - you can find a list of them at the following link:

Hope this helps,

USMMECOM
