Hi all.
With regards to Section 16 of our SF-86 Security Clearance form (paraphrased):
"Provide three people you know well...who are collectively aware of your activities outside of school, the workplace, etc., and whose combined association with you covers at least the last 7 years."

I'm having a hard time thinking of people I've known for that long, who aren't related to me. Most of my friends in high school were people who I had not previously known, and now that I'm in college I'm not really in contact with my high school friends as much anymore. Would it be best to just use a couple family friends who I don't necessarily speak to regularly, but who my parents have kept in contact with my whole life? Or could I use a friend who I've known for almost 7 years, but not quite, and who has not necessarily been "collectively aware" of my activities since we go to separate schools now?
Thanks.

The friend would be sufficient also neighbors are good if you have lived somewhere for an extended period of time. Also try to think of those old family friends aswell.
