So my DS is getting all of his stuff together for Beast since it is fast approaching. We have heard over and over that he should have a bag of stuff that he would like for after Beast packed for us to bring up on A-Day.

My question, for current or past cadets, is what do you recommend be in this bag we will take for A-Day? Clothes, books, what exactly does he need us to bring for the academic year?

He has already packed a fleece jacket, some khakis, a couple nice shirts (polo and a button-up), and a pair of shorts in addition to some extra acu's my husband no longer needs. Anything else? Or anything he doesn't need?

Thank you!

A new pair of running shoes potentially since Beast may wear them out. Clothes and books will be covered so I wouldn't worry about that. I'd say a large supply of snacks (preferably nutritional) always made Plebe year better due to the meals of the day potentially not being adequate.

Cadet appreciated getting the graphing calculator from high school calculus class. Although there is an equivalent software program on the issued computers, the familiar was helpful.

Only problem is that you can not use this calculator on the WPRs (tests). While it may be helpful doing homework, it may be wise to 'train how you fight' instead and use the simple calculator that you'd use on tests.
