NROTC School Selection

Is anyone else having trouble choosing from the drop down menu for their school selection. I am unable to choose the schools I want: Georgetown, George Washington University and Univeristy of Maryland at College Park? any suggestions?
 
I don't know about NROTC, but the AROTC app has a "Contact Us" section where you can email or call Cadet Command and report problems or ask questions. I would definitely try that, because it seems like a software error that might need to be fixed.

Why are you unable to choose them? What shows up in the drop-down list? Keep in mind that the schools you listed are all cross town affiliates of George Washington University. As I recall you are really applying to the unit and the scholarship can be used at any cross-town college. So I would expect that only George Washington University would show up in the drop down list.

You may also need to try a different browser. Most people have success with Internet Explorer, but not the latest version. Could your browser be the issue?

Keep in mind I cannot actually access the application so I'm guessing based on professional internet and NROTC application experience.
 
It is not a software error, kinnem is correct about them being in the same unit.

There is a pdf document that the website advised you to read before starting the scholarship application. Not trying to be mean but if you had read it thoroughly, as the website instructed you to, it would have told you the exact answer to your question.

It says that you must list 5 different units for your choices. GU, GWU, and UMCP are the same unit, so for this purpose you would select only GWU and that would be only one choice, meaning you would need 4 more different units.

You can still apply to (and use the scholarship at) GU and UMCP, but the navy wants 5 different units for the NROTC Application
 
Thank you all for the Clarification. As I have never completed this application before, I did not realize the difference between college and unit...Thank you for clearing this up. I certainly did read the instructions and will continue to review them as needed. Again, thank you
