Does anyone know when Admissions will publish the entering class profile?

I understand that the last few entering classes had 66% with post high school experiences (enlisted, USMAPS, civilian university etc) before receiving an appointment. Does anyone have information about this?

Sounds high. Probably closer to 30%.
About 200 will come from USMAPS and about 40 from the AOG prep program. The rest will be a mix of prior college and a few direct entry Soldiers.

In my DS' beast company, he was only 1 of 2 who did not have prior ROTC in college, SMC, prep school, enlisted military, or MAPS. So I'm not sure I would concur that 30% is the number.

Was he in one of the two football companies? They have a disproportionate number of prepsters compared to the other beast companies

Interesting question….this has been a point of curiosity many times before. IMHO, I would agree 2/3 had prior experience of some sort. The last third would be recruited athletes. Here is what came out recently and after CBT there will be a more detailed class profile. From my understanding 55 to 58 did not make it through CBT. Which is average.

No, combat vets are those prior enlisted who actually deployed in one (or more) combat zone.

I would assume they grouped those with prior experience together. SO having only 1 or 2 with prior experience in a single company would not be indicitive, to me, of the overall numbers. They do this so the company is roughly at the same level and can progress through Beast at the same pace.

It was what was briefed by an RC at a regional field force conference about a year and a half ago.

Appears that it might be true of higher percentage of post high school. Just looked at appointees from MD. The percentage kids getting appointment straight from high school is declining. This year about 50%, three years ago about 70%
