I am a high school junior and I have seen some other people on these forums asking about there chances through the application process. They look pretty good! So I just wanted to know some weakness and how I look for applying to the summer seminar and later USAFA.

GPA: 3.95 un-weighted
Five AP classes (AP World Soph year, AP Calc, AP Physics, AP Gov, AP Lit and Comp)
Honors engineering courses
ACT Comp score: 29
English: 26
Math: 28
Reading: 32
Science: 31

I have Varsity letters (since Freshman year) in Cross Country and Debate.
I also do Track and should letter senior year.
I'm in National Honor Society (will apply to be an officer)
Leadership Roles in my high school's Technology Student Association
Maybe 20+ hours volunteering (but going to do more)

For the physical test I should ace some portions. I have a five minute flat mile, can do 13 pull ups, exercise about 25 hours weekly. Not really worried about the physical portion.

I can update you if you need more info or if I come up with more. Thanks for your time!

You're pretty solid, but there are some things you could work on.
Try to get a significant leadership role in one of your organizations.
Apply and attend Boys State if given the chance.

Also, USAFA considers Math and English to be most important for the ACT.

My biggest advice to you for applying to Summer Seminar is to FOCUS ON THE ESSAY! I went to NASS and USAFASS this past summer and while at the Air Force the admissions counselor said we were all there because our essays made us stand out in some way. She said they weren't weighing too heavy on grades, scores, athletics. This is your chance to show them that spark you have over the five other people who won't get to go. Good luck! Your resume looks superb though, so good job!
