Updating SAT scores

I got my new SAT scores in October and had them sent directly to the academy. I noticed WP had updated them about a week later, and AF has the note "USAFA receives official test scores (ACT and SAT) on a regular basis. If your scores are missing, or if the scores above do not reflect your best scores, then please contact your Admissions counselor."

So a few days after WP updated, I sent my AF counselor an email... and still nothing! What should I do?

My new scores are much better than my old ones and if my application is being reviewed any time soon, I'd like my best scores to be reflected.
 
They will get them eventually. There was another thread where someone explained why USAFA updated differently than USMA. I can't remember the reason.

Anyway, I would take a screen shot of your scores and email it to your counselor. They will know that the official scores are coming and it gets the new better scores in their mind.
 
It appears as though the new SAT scores updated on the USAFA portals today!!!

Simple answer: CALL! This question has been asked frequently on here lately (I guess USAFA hasn't been on top of score updates), and that's the fastest way you will get a result. Admissions counselors get bundles of emails every day. Simply calling and making yourself and your situation known will better likely get you a solution on the spot because not a lot of candidates care enough to do so.

My son called and spoke directly with his Admissions Counselor. The scores would NOT be updated in the USAFA portal until they were received from College Board and then posted in their system. He told my son that this could take upwards of 6 weeks.

HOWEVER, as I posted….
"It appears as though the new SAT scores updated on the USAFA portals today!!!
Good News!!!"

I was referring to the OP...
Many people have had the issue of not having scores update, even months after they've taken the test- I had the same problem a couple of years ago. Calling solved the issue. A lot of times USAFA has your scores and they just aren't in the system yet.
