AROTC Board News - Scholarship!!!

I just (3:07pm Central) received an email from Cadet Command indicating that I have received an Army ROTC scholarship. It says I will receive a letter with further details in 7-10 days. The e-mail does not say to which school or whether it is a 3- or 4-year scholarship.

I checked my portal and do not see any new messages or information.

I guess this means the October Board results are out.

son rec'd same email. short email but brought a tear to my eye. now we just have to pray it matches a school he gets into.

My son also received the same email. No change to the portal.
 
And so it begins....

Congrats to all awarded scholarships. Between the board sending out awards and MS IV getting branched this forum is going to light up big time. :shake:

I just saw the email. I got the scholarship! Congrats to everyone else who did too and good luck to those still waiting:thumb:
 
Time to start the list

For those of you notified you were awared a scholarship it time to start the official list.

screen name, type of scholarship ( 3 yr or 4yr), school if known, date awarded, date accepted.

Unfortunately, None of that info came in the email. It was 1.5 lines long with no information other than some type of scholarship was awarded.

Same here! Was not notified on which schools or type of scholarship. Hopefully this is released soon! Go army!
 
It will probably take today and tomorrow for them to get all the emails out. Your official letter will most likely come in a week or so. Remember you will have 30 days from the date on the letter to accept or decline. If you are one of those that are still waiting for notification from a SA or another ROTC, make sure you still accept the scholarship while your waiting, you can decline at a later date if need be.
 
Oh how exciting for you all! DS will be checking his e-mail and hoping for news also!
 
Congrats to all, but especially to Vista and Strength & Honor, who I feel I have a somewhat personal relationship with. YAHOO! :thumb:
