I understand you only need one nomination to any of the academies. My question is does having multiple nominations to West Point benefit me at all? I received a presidential nomination, a congressional nomination, and nominations from both of my senators for a combined total of four. I'm aware only one is needed, but I feel like this is a pretty big accomplishment and may possibly be recognized by the admissions team. Tell me what you think. Thanks!

Some number of people (in the case of congressional and Senatorial that number is 1) will receive an appointment from each of these slates. So in essence you have 4 chances to compete against a smaller group (10 in the case of congressional) before moving on to the National Waiting List where you're competing against the nominees across the nation. So yes, having multiple noms is good. It sort of like having 4 lottery tickets instead of 1.

I got a letter from West Point which put me in the final cut.mdo my nominations still have any weight, or are they useless at that point.

Yes - the more noms the better but not in the sense that WP will be impressed with multiple noms, but that it gives WP more flexibility in slotting you for a nom.

I'm not really clear on what you are asking (what exactly to you mean by 'final cut') , but it is a legal requirement that you must have a nom to receive an appointment.
