NROTC Waiting Game

How long does one typically have to wait to hear of his or her decision for an NROTC scholarship. I've had my application in since late July/ early August, and have still yet to hear anything. At one point, the person with whom I have contact with at the NROTC office said that I was eligible for the ISR program. I am applying to the Naval Academy as well, so is it possible that one might interfere with the other?

They won't interfere with one another.
You could ultimately wait until April to get a final answer. Getting it in early means your there at the first boards and have a shot at the first scholarships (plus it's DONE). It doesn't really mean your going to hear a final answer any earlier.
