I was just wondering if it would be possible to retake a course if i didn't like the grade i got in the course. for example if i had gotten a c or lower, would it be possible to retake the course the next semester?

What grade are you in? You should talk to your counselor. I retook two semesters of a class because I got a C. (horrible teacher, but it happens) So it is definitely possible. It all depends on what your school allows. Good luck!

I assume you're at the academy considering your post history. No, you probably won't be able to retake the course during the AcYear. If you did, you'd either have to overload (which they won't let you do as a plebe), or have to push back another class and be behind in your matrix.

The only way that I know of retaking a course is through voluntary summer school. You'll have to give up your leave, so carefully consider how much you really want that A.

I did this while at USNA. I had a D in a class. I retook it the next semester, caught up during summer school. It was one of the best decisions I made while at Navy. Instead of really not understanding the subject and continuing to struggle, it gave me a chance to catch up, while not letting my other grades slip. Talk to your ac adviser and the professor from that class.

Thank you for all of your responses. Im actually ahead of my matrix because I validated chem1 and calc 1 and 2. I didnt have the best teachers and didnt do as well as I expected.
