AFROTC Portal problem

Hello everyone. I am submitting my transcript on the AFROTC portal and it it trying to make me enter an extension for my counselor's phone number. The problem is, none of the numbers at my school have extensions. What should I do? It will not let me submit without entering an extension. Thanks!

Does anybody know what to do? Should I just enter 0000 for the extension? I have everything completed on the application except for this. I just need it to submit.
 
If a moderator could delete this thread, that would be great. I figured out what my problem was.

Why don't you share it so if anyone else hits the same problem you can save them some effort?
 
I put the area code in parentheses. I thought it was throwing an error because of not having an extension (the format hint showed ext. xxxx), but it was actually just because of the area code format.
