UNSA Admissions Forums

Are these forums worth attending? There are not any being held near our location, but there is one in Nashville that is a couple days before our planned visit to Vanderbilt. I may take my DS down early if these forums are helpful.

There is an all Academy Night near us in Peoria, IL. Would that be similar to the Admissions Forum?

Yes, they are helpful especially if you have no military experience/knowledge about the SAs or ROTC, and if you are early in the process. They will give you a lot of information about each of the services, with representatives able to answer questions. It's helpful also if your DS/DD is a year or two out from applying, although it will still be informative if your DS/DD is a junior. I imagine the Academy Night/Admissions Forums vary from state to state. We attended one (I don't remember which) when DS was a sophomore. If anything it gives you a lot of info to read and start researching.
