Does anyone know when the rough time period for SDVETS appointments to go out, and has anyone gotten theirs yet?

you don't really ... but that's what they're assuming, since the criteria for it are very specific and very few are handed out

Stevewar2 can chime in if I am way off base
 
My father and I are very certain they used the SDVET nomination on me. When I spoke with my RC he told me he usually doesn't get many qualified candidates for those slots. The JROTC slots get taken very fast and my district is one of the most competitive so we are just assuming.

:thumb: Either way -- an appointment's an appointment. If you have multiple nominations and get an appointment, it doesn't really matter which nom was used.
 
lol it matters if youre the other guy in that stressful waiting phase :p
I have a PRESD and FL-62 and Im just being that kid thats stressing a little too much.:smile:

So are you competing against someone with a SDVET nom? Or do you also have a SDVET nom (+ the other 2)? (Not sure why you were asking) Yes, I know it's stressful to be in the waiting stage -- hang in there. Everyone should hear something by Apr 15. You've done what you can re. the application -- keep working on Plans B, C, D... Good luck!
